Kyushu Institute of Information Sciences

About the University
The Kyushu Institute of Information Sciences is the only university in Kyushu with a Faculty of Management and Information Sciences (Dept. of Management and Information Sciences and Dept. of Information Network). Established in 1998 it has actively accepted foreign students, and as well as giving them education and lifestyle guidance, they have exchange and overseas training with Japanese students, engage in cultural and academic exchanges with our sister universities. Aiming to become a university with roots planted firmly in the local community while broadening mutual cultural and international exchanges, we strive to contribute to produce graduates who can understand the good points of other countries, and contribute to the international society.
 
Programs / Services for International Students
The Kyushu Institute of Information Sciences accepts students in both undergraduate and post graduate degree programs. At present there are 342 foreign students enrolled. In the undergraduate Management and Information Sciences Dept. there are 6 courses: Business Management, Accounting Expert, Venture Business, IT marketing, Global Culture and Business and Web Business. In the Information Network Dept. There are 4 courses: Information Systems, Mobile Programming, Network Specialist and Web Systems. At the postgraduate level there is a Masters and PhD course in Management and Information Sciences.
