and Systems (IPS)
About the University
Since it was founded in 2003, The Graduate School of Information, Production and Systems, Waseda University (IPS) has been an Asia and global knowledge center working with universities, business, and research organizations in Japan and overseas to train the highly skilled technicians and researchers demanded by the modern global workplace through a program of applied education emphasizing project experience and other practical teaching methods. IPS graduates go on to become talented human resources contributing to the international community in a wide range of fields. Besides being prominent in the private sector, IPS graduates from overseas return to their home countries and embark on teaching and other careers.
Programs / Services for International Students
Since it first opened its doors, IPS has sought to create a borderless educational environment and promote English-Japanese bilingual education that does not distinguish between Japanese and overseas students. Most classes are therefore taught in both Japanese and English. Besides offering degrees in English only, IPS is a place where Japanese and overseas students learn together and acquire engineering knowledge in an environment that deepens their understanding of diverse cultures.
